Sustainable Energy

Nigeria has had an energy crisis for more than five decades with no solution in sight despite billions of dollars spent by every administration since the country’s independence in 1960. Industrialization remains a pipe dream unless Nigeria rapidly generates and distributes the shortfall with a constant supply of renewable and cheap energy. Numery Astra leverages the decades of experience of its partners to rapidly deploy large-scale solar power systems, wind farms, hydrogen fuel cells, and biomass energy to overcome the energy crisis in Nigeria. Biomass produces fuel similar to natural gas. The advantage is onsite utilization of the gas produced as an ancillary product on agricultural land.

Facts that drive our interest in renewable energy are:

  1. The finite nature of fossil fuels
  2. Lowest priced energy source will dominate the market
  3. Consumers will always prefer the cheapest gas
  4. Animal waste and trash hold a significant key to solving energy needs
  5. Hydrogen cells play an essential role in times of energy crises
Affordable Housing

In Nigeria and the world, housing is an important sector that holds the potential to create hundreds of thousands of jobs and stimulate economic growth. In Nigeria, however, access to affordable housing by low-income earners has been elusive.

According to the Central Bank of Nigeria, as of 2020, Nigeria’s housing deficit stood at 22 million units[1]. The massive shortfall presents an opportunity for Numery Astra to seek partners with the technology to deliver many sustainable and affordable housing units quickly. Working with state and federal governments, Numery Astra seeks to contribute to reducing the housing deficit within the next five to ten years.
